Transforming Awareness into Action Workshop

The Transforming Awareness into Action workshop has been designed using the Six Stages Framework™ to provide participants with a clear pathway from awareness to meaningful action. 

The Six Stages Framework was developed by Dr Shungu Hilda M’gadzah designed to support individuals, teams, and organisations to recognise their current position in relation to prejudice, discrimination, equity, and inclusion, and to progress towards active leadership and cultures of belonging. Through reflection, discussion, and practical action planning, participants will explore both personal and organisational positioning and commit to meaningful next steps.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, participants will:

  • Understand the purpose and structure of the Six Stages Framework™ as the foundation of the programme.
  • Explore how the framework can be applied to both anti-discrimination and wider inclusion.
  • Reflect on personal and organisational positioning using the Six Stages Framework™.
  • Identify practical actions that foster equity, inclusion, and belonging in their workplace or community.
