With 30 years of experience as a Police Officer Marcia Ore has developed her deep commitment to activism and advocacy to combat racism and discrimination, especially towards Black people, Black women, women and individuals who identify as LGBTQI+

For six years, she shared her insights through monthly articles in Jane’s Police Review, and as a distinguished keynote speaker reaching global audiences on the critical topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

As co-founder and Director of Women In The Shade dedicated to uplifting Black women in uniformed services, particularly those in junior ranks, to ensure their voices and experiences are acknowledged, respected, and valued. She co-authored a transformative 30-day journal designed to empower and support Black women.
